As responsible citizens of the largest democracy in the world, it is the constitutional obligation of each one of us to exercise the fundamental right to vote.

All of us, as residents of Bengaluru, want to make this city a cleaner, greener and vibrant place to live in. We want our children to grow up and prosper in a pollution-free green environment, so as to make their life healthier and wealthier.

In order to ensure that, it is my earnest appeal to all of you to come forward and cast your votes in the upcoming BBMP elections. Make sure that you choose candidates who you feel are most competent to live up to your expectations, who will discharge their duties as people’s representatives, responsibly.

As the President of Pradesh Congress Committee, Karnataka, it is also my duty to appeal to you in the larger interest of a stable and efficient BBMP, please cast your votes in favour of the Congress, the largest political party in the country.

Our government at the Centre has led India to unprecedented growth in industrial and economic fronts even at the toughest of times. I am sure, you would appreciate that the Congress will provide similar governance in BBMP once elected.

I would also request all of you to recollect the all round development of Bengaluru, including IT-BT and Infra-structure, during Sri S.M. Krishna’s regime.

Please remember, your vote for the congress is your investment in Bengaluru’s future.
